Forklifts.com was looking for a video to show their current and potential vendors to give them more information on their website. We are currently filming this video but I am looking forward to using some exciting techniques on this project.

Aeroseal Austin is an energy saving business that seals the ductwork of a house. They use a unique technique which includes a special glue that plugs up the holes in your ducts to prevent any energy loss through leakage. Aeroseal Austin came to me to help them create a demonstration video for their website to help inform their customers on the sealing process. We are currently in the editing stages of this video so look for it soon!

My name is Rachael Prado (formerly Schroeder) and I am a professional videographer/photographer in the Austin, TX area. I am a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Radio Television Film. I have over 5 years experience filming and photographing the Austin area.

I have a great passion for documentary films. Thats why in my video portfolio, you will see mostly a documentary shooting style and subject matter. I do, however, have experience creating clean, professional videos for companies and some of my previous clients include Lowe’s, The Texas Memorial Museum, and The Texas Home School Coalition.

As for photography, I have experience working in a studio-like setting as well as on-site photography. From an artistic standpoint, I am fascinated by lines, patterns and the contrast of colors.

I am planning to use this blog as place to discuss my current projects as well as topics from within the film and photography world.
